Hyundai Verna vs Honda City - Which Is The Best Sedan?

This is the Honda City facelift and this is the new Hyundai Verna today I am going to compare them to tell you which is the better C segment sedan the city is available in nine variants including two variants for the strong hybrid meanwhile the Verna is available in 14 variants the city range starts at 13.59 lakhs and goes all the way to 18.77 lakhs and if you factor in the strong hybrid well that one caused the whopping rupees 24.11 lakhs meanwhile the Werner range starts at a lower 12.93 lakhs and goes all the way to 20.5 lakhs for the Dual clutch automatic both the cars here are top end petrol manuals and thus the city's price it will be 17.33 lakhs meanwhile the very nice price at a higher 18.88 lakhs for the automatics you end up paying rupees 1.62 lakhs more in the Verna because it gets a better dual-clutch automatic gearbox meanwhile in the city you pay a premium of rupees 1.44 lakhs for the automatic because it is the fun sapping CVT now since.

Now we start with the keys of these vehicles if you notice the Honda key is much Slicker however in the Verna you press this button and the engine starts so it has this remote engine start function on the key itself where the key is quite old otherwise the function on the key is the same on both the keys that is coming to the design of the cars well the city definitely looks better at the front the design of the Verna is a bit polarizing.

I would say that the city is more universally accepted because this is a love-it-or-hated design this one looks quite nice and there is a camera for the Adas functions it also gets rain sensors which the Werner does not get now both the cars actually have very aggressive bumpers.

If you notice this yes it's there on the Verna as well but it has this sort of carbon fiber finish which looks quite nice straight away. Let's open the engine bay and there you see the VTEC engine there's of course insulation there is the quite refined very refined engine but this car does not get a radar panel for eight hours of functions which the Verna gets yes that is the panel for it as but the one also gets a camera there for the link keeper system all that let's straight away open the engine bay oh my goodness it's so hot this thing definitely feels heavier in the Verna engine feels a touch noisier here and you can see and feel a bit of the vibration as well so let me just shut this the thing is that Honda hasn't done cost-cutting at the front because the lights are full-LED units yeah these are full LED lights, in fact, it also gets fog lights which the Werner misses out on and the indicator the front indicators in the Verna are actually halogens.

But the Werner gets front parking sensors and I don't know why the Hyundai logo is so huge on this car now the thing about the city is that it has one of the best request sensors for keyless entry because even when you come near the car the city automatically unlocks but there is no request sensor in the Verna on the other side you always have to press a button on the driver's side but it does not get a request sensor on the passenger side.

Which is cost cutting of course in the city you get it on both sides and when you walk away with the key the car will automatically lock also and it wilL also shut the outside rearview mirrors from the rear again the design of the city definitely looks better to me you get this subtle spoiler treatment and again aggressive treatment on the bumper both the cars fail The Vessel cons fingers of tooth test because the exhaust is actually hidden underneath you get rear parking sensors you get a rear parking camera again big logo I like this continuous treatment which has been done for the tail lights but the indicators are halogen same is the case with the city as well halogen indicators not only that even the reverse lights are actually halogen in both the cars so I don't know for cars which cost this much why is there this cheap cost-cutting of offering us halogens now like the bumper treatment on the Verna, some really nice aggressive designs in fact I love the lights as well look at those lights are beautiful at least they are original and not BMW-inspired both of them get a similar shock fin antenna the boot is bigger in the Verna by 28 liters. yeah, that is a massive boot the biggest in the segment but the spare wheel is not an alloy it's smaller in size.

it's a 15-inch or 185 65 15. so that's a bit disappointing let's just shut this you obviously get a high-mounted stop lamp coming to the city well it has an equally big boot 506 liters so it is smaller when compared to the Verna but still it is big enough now let's see what the spare wheel is like yeah smaller size spare wheel here as well so cross-cutting has been done in fact earlier in the city.

The city pre-facelift actually had got a full-size spare wheel so I don't know why Honda has removed that particular feature so cost-cutting is being done randomly now if you notice the alloy wheel design of both the cars it is definitely the city that has a better alloy wheel design yes the car has almost touched that that was really close but you know what the city looks very under attack so look at the design of the alloy wheelies of the city definitely look better both of them call them diamond cut alloy wheels.

But I like the design but it looks awfully under tired meanwhile in the word nah you can see the design is okay it gets red-colored brake calipers black finish as well but somehow I just don't like the design of the wheels. However, these are bigger tires two not five fifty-five sixteens compared to the city's rather smallish tires yeah these are quite small these are 185s come on with all that power giving such into Min to 18555 16. it's just not done look at the Precision yeah that is amazing that was really very close in terms of length it is actually the city which is longer marginally longer city meanwhile the Verna is actually has a longer wheelbase and the height of the city more but the width of the Verna is more you tell me which car looks better.
