Triumph Speed 400 & Scrambler 400 X: New Triumph Bajaj Motos: Full Review

Triumph has finally confirmed the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400x. We've got the full specification launch date and information here and take a look at the first bikes to come with Triumph Bajaj for you. A very welcome road for AKMotoblog.com, so Triumph has finally confirmed the long-awaited rumored 400 and Scrambler 400x, along with some spy shots.

Finally getting some official information and a first look at these bikes is not only a very exciting moment for A2 riders, especially in UK Europe, and Asia, but this announcement also confirms the presence of these bikes from the five-year partnership between Bajaj and Triumph.

December 2023 these will be released for dealers here in the UK and in India, so ask Triumph fans in India, it's coming in July and August, that's pretty cool, so the bikes might be in India in the next week or so, but the global launch date will be early 2024. Trying

So we will have to wait and see when the final launch dates will be available, but it looks like Triumph Indy fans are in luck as these Scrambler and Speed 400 models are going to zip on the streets very soon, but let's get to the specs and talk about the bikes and what we know about them so far, so these two Bikes are built from the ground up with all new parts,

Of course, the TR series engines underpin both the Mini Speed and the TT Scrambler. Brand new and they exceed Euro 5 requirements and both have a single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor, we expect a 398 cc motor with four valves on a double overhead camshaft and a maximum power of 39.5 brake horsepower at 8,000 revs and a torque figure of around 37.5 Newton. Meters redline at 6500 revs at 9500 revs per minute, and they say this will be a signature Triumph delivery from the motor, which also gets Bosch electronic fuel injection.

I've definitely seen photos of both models with the system and stainless steel silencer, and you can see the separate styling that the Scrambler has a kind of dual exhaust type. They also have six gears with a torque-assist clutch and slip assist on the wire throttle, and of course, they're A2 compatible for riders in the UK. Definitely try to target the younger and newer riders here and those who are really new to riding.

Especially experienced riders can have weekend toys or take a step down from the higher models maybe a speed or a scrambler model is a big hit and especially in Asian countries 400 cc is considered an absolutely big bike. You don't really need to go more than 80 miles per hour, the top speed may be more than 90 miles per hour here, but we will have to wait and see when the bikes will be assembled by Bajaj in India and it could be an exclusive deal to get these bikes on sale in the Indian market soon. ,

It will be assembled at Triumph plants in Thailand and Brazil. From now they're going to get a two-year unlimited mileage warranty with 10K service intervals, which again is huge, prices are yet to be confirmed and we've been given no indication of an exact launch date. As for the prices but they said about two months or so and the Indian price is not going to reflect what it will be in the UK we will come to the price in a little while with some rumors and speculations about what else the manufacturers are doing in this market segment so the law going elsewhere on the bike is new and shared between the two models. will be taken.

It is a tubular steel hybrid spine with a bolt-on rear subframe and double-sided cast aluminum alloy swing arm. The differences between the two start to show, as the Velocity 400 gets 17-inch front and rear wheels with Metzler Sportec m9rrs. The Metallica Street Hoops have dual-purpose tires and off-road grip that both hoon on well-lit trails, big-piston 43 mil upside-down forks, and the Scrambler has 10 miles of travel with 150 miles of travel. The rear suspension is a gas mono-shock RSU with an external reservoir and preload adjustment, giving the Scrambler 150 miles of travel and 130 miles of torque.

The Scrambler has a wider belt with widths listed at 795 mph and 825 mph, so it's going to set the bikes up so that the Scrambler is more upright and good for standing on pegs, so to speak, off-road. And it gets a 300 mil front disc with a four-piston radial caliper on the Speed and a larger 320 mil disc with a four-piston caliper on the Scrambler, both with the same 230 mil disc with a floating caliper at the rear.

The scrambler can be switched off and the variable traction control can be turned off for both, so the descrambler is here for some hard riding and some jaunts off-road and is a bit more expensive to buy than the Speed. Because it has a few spec bits here and there, it has a 13-liter fuel tank combo that gets around 80 miles per gallon,

But we'll have to drive it to be sure the wet weight is listed at 170 kilograms for the Scrambler 400x and 179 kilograms for the Scrambler 400x, the Scrambler's seat height is slightly higher at 835mm and the top speed is 790mm thanks to the larger wheels and longer travel suspension. The Scrambler seat is basically long, wide, and tall with a big wheelbase and it's fitted with ray control for off-roading, but the speed is still nice and nimble and nice to ride on the road.

It's agile and beautiful to ride on the road, so whether you notice the style differences or not, they'll ride a little differently, and ultimately be more interesting to look at, both models have an analog dial and LCD instrument cluster. panel and it displays the remaining range as well as your usual key information like the gear indicator, and you get a USB C socket for your gadgets and a factory-fitted anti-theft immobilizer as standard.

So I must say that both the styling and the general look of these bikes are stunning and they are going to be available in three different colors for each model, so the Speed 400 is definitely going to come with their own Triumph in black red, or blue. I absolutely love the wording for them and the fact that the Scrambler is available in black red or just classic green from the hit,

I think the green for the Triumph is somehow spectacular and we haven't seen one that I like. I think the Triumph has always been very cool, as well as having a great complement of accessories, with over 25 since its introduction, ranging from styling to luggage.

Crash bars and accessory bits like this are great. It's interesting to see what people do to customize these bikes, but the big question on everyone's lips is how much the bikes are going to list. Find out at any time how much they are listed,

But it tries to make it clear that it is going to be priced competitively against key competitors in each market. BMW names the g310r and GS separately. Doubts about the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 liquid-cooled update, which has been heavily rumored and confirmed without official confirmation at this point, will be a tough contender,

So it might be interesting to see how these two bikes match up against each other. It will be interesting to see how BMW develops here, as they named it in the small press release, so both the g310r and GS models have 313 CC engines, so they have faithful brake horsepower and 28-Nm of torque significantly less than the hits here but they cost 5190 respectively. pounds and is 5890 pounds. Co-operating with the judge, it's a lot less than five thousand pounds, so a Triumph would have hit the nail on the head, but I'll have to keep my thoughts on that

Because if they are a 400cc bike priced close to six thousand pounds, it will be interesting to see how the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 fares. The designs for these bikes are absolutely amazing bike and very popular Royal Enfield is known for throwing a bike that works at very competitive prices, i.e. we have recently ridden Classic 350 and Hunter 350 here and they are priced at approx. Four thousand five hundred pounds and that's very competitive in this market, so it will be very interesting to see how it does, so we're going to visit the Triumph factory soon to see these bikes in the metal.

Have a little peek around the factory and see what I can find from Triumph and see if I can talk to someone about how important these models are to the Triumph brand, so stay tuned.

We will try to get more reviews on these models as soon as we can but subscribe to stay updated with us on bike stuff. Stay tuned for the next video coming out very soon with me at the factory, what do you think about it and have you seen the specs and details before and if it's everything you'd expect from a Triumph? Actually, that might be something you should consider, and naturally what speed do you prefer or the Scrambler 400x.
