VinFast's arrival in Europe will take place in the coming months but they are not forgetting other regions and areas of the world. Especially where there is a greater potential number of clients and where there is greater economic development since it is where money "moves" the most. And the proof of this is in the new VinFast VF 3 or what is the same, a new small all-terrain one hundred percent electric. Also, its design is really attractive…
What is it like and what does the new VinFast VF 3 offer…?
According to the official VinFast press release the VF 3 sports a “compact and contemporary design”. In fact, the brand says that it is designed for the local customer, although they also explain that it has been designed to meet a "wide range of applications and operating environments." The exterior is 3.11 meters long and there are only three doors on the body, however, the brand points out that it has enough space for five passengers and their suitcases.
If we take a look at its bodywork we can define it as geometric and cubic. It is full of straight lines that break when reaching the wheel arches or the front optics. There is no lack of a grill that, from afar, gives us an air of the Suzuki Jimny although it integrates the VinFast logo with its characteristic chrome wings. Covering the wheel arches are 16-inch alloy wheels that don't hide the generous ground clearance.
As it is an SUV, there is no shortage of front and rear bumpers completely protected by black plastic moldings. These extend through the wheel arches and underbody in order to minimize each and every one of the damages that may occur when driving in the field. As for possibilities, there is a wide color palette that, according to the brand, further improves its customization for each client.
Indoors the VinFast VF 3 offers a minimalist design. In the photos published by the brand, it is not seen in detail because it looks more like a render than an image of a final model. In any case, the design is simple and is structured in the form of a three-story amphitheater to offer a greater sense of space. Its creators indicate that the user experience is comfortable since all the intelligent functions have been integrated...
Really, will it be the same or better than the Suzuki Jimny…?
By design, we can say that the VinFast VF 3 is a complete success because it is not a copy of the Suzuki Jimny. It has that exclusive point that other rival firms have not been able to capture in their models. The question is that we do not know what its trunk capacity is and due to its external size, its habitability would be just as fair or perhaps worse. In terms of technology, the brand limits itself to indicating that it moves thanks to an electric powertrain.
The VinFast VF 3 will be available for order starting next September. After that, it is expected that the first deliveries will take place in the third quarter of next year 2024
It's power or battery capacity is also, for now, a total unknown. The brand indicates that it will be on sale in Eco and Plus versions and will have an affordable price to attract the masses in the meantime. All this by offering a safe, convenient, and intelligent transportation solution that will make it the new "national vehicle" for the Vietnamese people. Therefore, if you like it, don't wait to see it in Europe and, furthermore, it's still not at our level...
