The Ferrari Purosangue: Breaking Down the Price Tag

The Ferrari Purosangue is one of the most desired models, for those who have to pay for it and those who don't. The Italian brand's sports SUV has become one of the most expensive models on the market, and it's 1:8 scale reproduction so you can admire it too. Not so much, but with what it costs you can buy an MG ZS.

Those of Morris Garage are throwing the house out the window. The British brand knows how to put European brands on the ropes with a range of models that are gaining more and more followers and customers. If it's making a real splash in the electric car arena, its latest big thing may end the race for some zero-emission sports cars.

However, there is a model that has emerged as a true mainstay in the sales of the brand. This is the MG ZS, an SUV that faces one of the most demanded models on the market, the Dacia Duster, and others as affordable as the Skoda Kamiq. This access model to the MG range is offered in two versions and their prices start from 14,000 Euros. A little less than the scale reproduction of the Ferrari Purosangue costs.

The Ferrari Purosangue is so exclusive, even with 62 centimeters

Incredible but absolutely true, the exclusivity of the Prancing Horse brand has no limits and takes advantage of any object. The firm has granted the privilege, and the necessary permits, for the reproduction of the coveted sports SUV to Amalgam Collection, a specialist with a long tradition in making scale reproductions of emblematic models on the market, and this is one of them.

This craftsman in scale models and miniatures has benefited not only from sketches by the Maranello brand's designers but also from CAD simulations to perfectly represent the Purosangue, investing more than 3,000 hours of work to achieve perfection both from the outside and from the inside. In each unit, a craftsman needs 300 hours to produce it from scratch, including the paint job, which is of course only available in the usual Ferrari Red, as well as the assembly of the interior. Because, at least, you can open its doors and admire it.

Having a Maranello SUV, even a toy, is impossible

This 1:8 scale reproduction of the Ferrari Purosangue is not yet in the firm's official store, not even in the 1:43 scale variant, which will be the most interesting option to get a Purosangue unit. Because this costs a whopping 13,995 euros. If you change the exterior color, that of the brake calipers or the interior, you will have to pay 18,195 euros. In the first case, almost what the most ecological MG ZS costs, and in the second, a more powerful and well-equipped ZS. The choice is yours, but we warn you that only 199 units will be produced.
