Equipped
with the 300cc single-cylinder block, the renewed Vespa GTV develops just over
23 CV. Added to all this is revised and expanded equipment with a greater role
in technology.
Much
has happened since the first Vespa GTV was presented in 2006. One more
interpretation of the roots of the popular transalpine brand with elements such
as its "basso headlight" placed on the front fender. 17 years later,
the Vespa GTV saga writes a new chapter with the 2023 model which, despite
maintaining the essence that characterizes this model, has taken a great step
forward in every way.
Taking
advantage of the aesthetic improvements introduced in the GTS, the Vespa GTV
introduces a complete LED lighting system, including the low headlight, a hallmark of this model. The nod to the beginnings of Vespa can also be seen in
the unmistakable 'tie' in the center of the shield which, in this case, has
orange decorations on its edges. This is completed by spoked wheels finished in
matt black and a two-tone seat.
The
most powerful engine ever mounted on a Vespa
Mechanically,
the new Vespa GTV is powered by a 300cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder block.
This develops a power of 23.8 CV, being the most powerful engine ever mounted
on a model of the Italian brand. The technological leap is also evident, with
solutions such as electronic traction control, ABS, or a keyless start system.
For its
part, the instrumentation, which has an LCD screen, is attached to the
handlebars and maintains its circular shapes in yet another nod to its roots.
This display allows you to view maximum speed, average speed, current
consumption, average consumption, autonomy, battery charge status, as well as
all notifications related to calls, messages, and music if the vehicle is
connected to the smartphone via Vespa MIA (optional ).
The equipment is
completed with a USB port on the counter shield and space under the seat to
leave the helmet. The new Vespa GTV is now available in the colors Beige
Avvolgente Opaco and Convinto Black, at a price starting at 7.499 euros.
