This is the flying car that already has a license in the United States: they are preparing another that would cost only $35,000

Flying cars have long been a staple of sci-fi movies, but Alef Aeronautics is bringing this concept to life. In a booming market, flying cars and eVTOLs have caught the attention of many companies. These vehicles are considered a viable solution to reduce traffic congestion in densely populated areas, creating a new dimension of mobility.

The commercialization of the flying car begins soon

Alef Aeronautics, a leading company in the flying car sector, has made considerable progress in the commercialization of its flagship model, the Alef Model A. The company recently achieved flight certification in the United States, becoming the first of its kind to get it.

This important milestone will allow the company to continue advancing its mission to revolutionize transportation and deliver the Alef Model A to consumers. Jim Dukhovny, CEO of the company, expressed his enthusiasm for this achievement, commenting on the successful completion of this important step in the company's journey towards the ultimate goal of transforming urban mobility.

The company is delighted to have received FAA certification, which opens the doors to a faster and more environmentally friendly form of transportation. This is an extremely important achievement in the development of flying cars and eVTOLs, bringing us closer to a sustainable solution to traffic congestion. Certification allows them to offer customers a faster and more efficient journey, saving them valuable time and resources.

The future is in flying cars?

The company's first prototype was built in 2016 and was intended to be an electric car that could take off at any time. The company claims that the Model A has a range of 320 km on the ground and 177 km in flight. In this sense, the pre-sale began in October of last year for $ 300,000 and, apparently, received more than 440 reservations by the end of the year. Alef plans to start commercial production in 2025.

By 2030, the company hopes to launch a second model, the "Model Z." This new model will have a lower price tag of $35,000 and will only require a drone license to operate. The Model Z is expected to have a flight range of 320 km, with the capacity to carry 4 to 6 passengers. In addition, Alef claims that the Model Z will be able to carry up to 400kg on the road.
