This is how through AI your car will recognize your emotions and act intelligently

Can you imagine a car that can detect if you are sad or angry and configure it to make your experience more pleasant? This is the GENIUS project, which, led by GrupoAntolin, seeks through artificial intelligence to recognize the emotional and cognitive states of vehicle users.

Imagine that you get in the car and you are “down”. The expression on your face, your body expression, and the way you sit and take the wheel are analyzed by your vehicle. After detecting the situation, it acts automatically and intelligently to improve your experience through external stimuli such as lighting, sound, or aromas. This is what GENIUS consists of, a project led by GrupoAntolin that is based on Artificial Intelligence that seeks, through AI, for your car to recognize your emotions and act intelligently.

IMPROVE THE EXPERIENCE AT THE WHEEL

With the aim of improving the user experience during the trip, the Burgos multinational project has a renowned team of Spanish experts in neurology, psychology, cognitive knowledge, the study of emotions, and computer systems. They will investigate intelligent systems capable of determining emotional and cognitive states, mood, comfort, and health through different sensors

These sensors connected to intelligent systems will analyze and interpret the data and the system will improve the experience on board through external stimuli such as lighting, sound, or aromas, automatically adjusting the interior of the cabin to your needs.

THE ROOM OF THE FUTURE

GrupoAntolín, a global provider of technological solutions for the interior of the car, conceives the passenger compartment of the future as the third vital space after their homes and offices. In it, well-being based on each moment is essential. And it is sought that the control of these interior functions is autonomous and intelligent.

As part of the project, which has a grant from the Board of Directors of the Center for Technological Development and Innovation, a state-of-the-art simulator is being built for research and analysis of critical parameters and monitoring systems. In it, the tests of the correlation study between stimuli, cognitive states, and biomedical and physiological data will be carried out.

This collaboration will allow GrupoAntolin to offer vehicle manufacturers a more disruptive solution that is far removed from the current way of interacting with the vehicle.
