BYD Unveils the Seal U7 SUV in India

BYD has officially launched the Seal U7 SUV in India with prices starting at ₹48.9 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV will be available in two variants: Premium and Performance. It made its India debut at the Auto Expo 2025 and follows the Ocean X design language, similar to the Seal electric sedan.




The SUV features a sleek front bumper, LED headlights, and coupe-like styling. The Premium variant rides on 19-inch wheels, while the Performance variant gets 20-inch wheels. Inside, the Seal U7 boasts a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated seats, connected car technology, a panoramic sunroof, and a wireless phone charger. It also includes 11 airbags, a 360-degree camera, and Level 2 ADAS safety features.

Powering both variants is an 82.5 kWh battery pack, but with different outputs. The Premium variant generates 313 hp and 330 Nm of torque, allowing it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.7 seconds, with a claimed range of 567 km. The Performance variant, with 530 hp and 690 Nm of torque, achieves 0-100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds and has a range of 542 km.

Audi RS Q8 Performance Launched in India

Audi has introduced the RS Q8 Performance in India with prices starting at ₹2.49 crore (ex-showroom). This high-performance SUV features a 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, producing 640 hp and enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 305 km/h.

The RS Q8 Performance gets aggressive styling, featuring a black honeycomb grille, larger air intakes, carbon fiber wing mirrors, and an RS roof spoiler. Inside, it offers a Bang & Olufsen 17-speaker sound system, four-zone climate control, and adjustable rear seats.

Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Arrives in India

Toyota has launched the 2025 Land Cruiser 300 in India, available in two variants:

  • ZX Variant: ₹2.31 crore (ex-showroom)

  • GR-S Variant: ₹2.41 crore (ex-showroom)

The ZX variant has a traditional grille design, while the GR-S variant gets black accents, an aggressive bumper, black alloy wheels, and GR badging. The SUV is equipped with a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 4-zone climate control, front and rear ventilated seats, and a digital instrument cluster.

For safety, it comes with Toyota’s Level 2 ADAS and 10 airbags. Both variants feature a 3.3L V6 diesel engine producing 309 hp and 700 Nm of torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Toyota Prado Spotted Testing in India

The Toyota Prado has been spotted testing in India and is expected to launch later this year. The new Prado features a bold grille with vertical slats, square LED headlights, and 20-inch black alloy wheels. Inside, it gets an all-black interior, a digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. More details, including its powertrain options, will be revealed closer to the official launch.

Renault Updates Kiger and Triber for 2025

Renault has updated its Kiger compact SUV and Triber MPV for 2025. Both models now come with four power windows and central locking as standard. Renault has also revised their variant lineup:

  • Kiger is now priced between ₹6.1 lakh and ₹11 lakh (ex-showroom).

  • Triber now ranges from ₹6.1 lakh to ₹8.75 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Kiger’s RXL trim now gets an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a reverse parking camera. The top-spec RXZ trim gets remote engine start. The Triber also receives an 8-inch touchscreen and a reverse parking camera.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza Gets Six Airbags as Standard

Maruti Suzuki has updated the Brezza by making six airbags standard across all variants. The price has increased slightly:

  • LXI variant: ₹15,000 hike

  • VXI and ZXI trims: ₹5,000 to ₹11,000 hike

Aside from the additional airbags, the Brezza remains unchanged in terms of design and features.

Aprilia Tuono 457 Launched in India

Aprilia has launched the Tuono 457, a sport-naked motorcycle, in India at ₹3.95 lakh (ex-showroom). It shares the same 457cc twin-cylinder engine as the RS 457, producing 47.6 hp and 43.5 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch.

The Tuono 457 features a smaller LED headlight, 12.7L fuel tank, and slightly shorter gearing for better performance. It is available in two color options: Red/Black and White/Gray.

TVS Ronin Gets New Colors and Dual-Channel ABS

TVS has updated the Ronin 225 for 2025 with new Midnight Blue, Glacier Silver, and Charcoal Ember color options. The mid-spec variant now features dual-channel ABS, increasing its price by ₹2,000, while the base and top variants remain unchanged. The Ronin continues to be powered by a 225.9cc engine producing 20.4 hp.

Bajaj Pulsar NS125 Now Comes with ABS

Bajaj has updated the Pulsar NS125 with a single-channel ABS system, making it one of the only motorcycles in its segment to offer this feature. It continues to be powered by a 125cc engine producing 12 hp and 11 Nm of torque.

Honda Hornet 2.0 Updated with New Features

Honda has updated the Hornet 2.0 with OBD-2 compliance, a new TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, and a traction control system. Priced at ₹1.57 lakh (ex-showroom), it retains its 184.4cc engine producing 17 hp and 15.7 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
